Michael Le In many ways, Nike is one big family, a melting pot of many cultures. And with Latinx Heritage Month now in full swing, the Swoosh is appropriately quick to pay homage, offering a Lucha Libre inspired collection, a Puerto Rico themed Air Max 97, and now the Air Max 90 “LHM.”
As Nike puts it, the Air Max 90 “LHM” channels the importance of family. This is expressed in many a way, the most literal being the “Familia” text that dresses the heel and sock liner. Elsewhere, between the more subdued black and white fixtures, a technicolor print takes this concept to new heights, its vivid pink, yellow, blue, and orange color coming together to form an ode to bonds.
Prepared in fully family sizes, the Air Max 90 “LHM” will hit Nike.com and select retailers on September 29th. For a closer look at the official images, see below.
