Jovani Hernandez The New Balance XC-72 hasn’t been on the market for long, but it’s quickly garnered attention due to its familiar, yet refreshing design. For its latest ensemble, the low-top silhouette has indulged in an off-white medley complemented by hits of much more vibrant tones.
Constructed from premium leather and pig suede, New Balance‘s latest lifestyle-oriented design draws inspiration from running shoes of yesteryear. Profile “N” logos are partly-hidden underneath the supportive and protective reinforcement wrapped around the heel and toe, with the latter area also featuring a trail-inspired tread pattern. The midsole opts for an “aged” aesthetic, harkening back to NB’s time creating race day-ready footwear (which also inspired the New Balance 327).
