Since entering the mainstream music scene in the early 2010s, A$AP Rocky has championed many brands. Among them, adidas. Having received his own colorway of Jeremy Scott’s Wings shoes, the Uptown madman has recently unveiled an upcoming Prada x adidas Forum Low.
Akin to the first collaboration between both European institutions, the newly-surfaced collaborative pair indulges in an extremely simple arrangement. The 37-year-old adidas Originals silhouette indulges in an all-“Cloud White” color scheme. “PRADA” branding takes over the tops of the tongue, replacing traditional trefoil logos, yet the most significant detail of the Three Stripes’ joint-effort is the detachable pouch featured on the laces. As included on sets of gloves throughout its Fall/Winter 2021 runway show, Prada modifies the basketball sneaker with a heavy-zippered attachment, which includes the Italian brand’s silver triangular emblem. The pouch and adidas Forum are both made from ultra-premium leather, ensuring the collaboration’s retail price point is not for the faint of heart.
Enjoy a first-look at the pair here below, and anticipate an adidas CONFIRMED app launch before 2021 ends.
Elsewhere under the Three Stripes banner, a YEEZY 500 “Ash Grey” is set to launch soon.
