Gold Accents Spice Up The Nike Air Max Plus “Sisterhood”

As an inclusive sportswear brand, Nike doesn’t only sell women’s apparel and footwear but also empowers its audience of women to break barriers in the sports realm and beyond. The concept of sisterhood, as well as the connection between beauty and strength, is explored and celebrated by the upcoming, women’s-exclusive Nike Air Max Plus “Sisterhood.”

For its textile base, the pair gets bold with a red and blue gradient and is sharply contrasted by black, wavy TPU fingers. The profile Swooshes and lace loops introduce bits of gold to dress up the style. Furthermore, a gold lace dubrae that reads “Sister” distinguishes the design from other Air Max Plus offerings. The heel also incorporates collection-exclusive details by adding cursive red Nike text. Gold branding that features a pair of dice hanging from a Swoosh logo—reminiscent of decorations attached to rear view mirrors—along with the words “We Ride Together” are printed on the insoles to round out the celebratory style.
