Michael Le Eric Emanuel may be one of the Three Stripes’ most underused collaborators. After working with McDonald’s on a Forum Hi earlier in the year, the designer had little to offer outside of his own mainline collections. However, that is finally changing for the better as the two are working together on a duo of adidas Hoops offerings.
The N3XT L3V3L FutureNatural is brought back thanks to Emanuel’s kindness. Its sleek, futuristic look is subdued by way of an LA-friendly colorway. White neutrals serve as the base, its thick, ribbed collar overlaid atop with bright yellow accents. The shade, then, appears again along the toe’s pattern, which features purple stripes in ostensible homage to the Lakers. The accompanying Exhibit A seems to celebrate an entirely different team, replacing the aforementioned cool tone with blue, a signature of the LA Rams.
