Air Jordan 1 Mid “Siempre La Familia” Returns With Newly Decorated Uppers

Air Jordan 1 Mid “Siempre La Familia” Returns With Newly Decorated Uppers

The Air Jordan 1 Mid has effectively become a playground on which the brand can test new ideas. And with its latest creation, the silhouette pulls out all the stops, iterating on the “Siempre La Familia” theme in the most playful of ways.

Decorations aside, the pair starts with a color palette quite timeless. The majority of the overlays are cast in black, these panels — which alternate between thick suedes to textured leathers — linked with a red toe and tread to complete a rather distinct homage to the “Bred” colorway. Then, over along the Swoosh, embroideries shape the iconic check as they do the Wings logo adjacent, their threads and bright red, yellow, and blue color displaying a scene fit for the Day of the Dead. Finally, the toe box rounds out the design with similar energy, embellishing its edges with small but spiky teeth.
