For every Pixel, Shadow, and Utility, there exists an OG-inspired Air Force 1. And here, following further debuts of its lug-soled, high-top counterpart, the silhouette is drawing reference to the classic Vandal.
In colorway and blocking, the nods are quite clear. Fabrication, however, is where the Air Force 1 sets itself apart, deviating from the shiny nylons for a more palatable arrangement of smooth leathers. The Swoosh, then, rounds out the profile with a gilded finish, its polish near reflective like that of its muse. Finally, matching branding hits the tongue and heel, while a full white tooling sits underfoot.
