CLOT, fragment design And UNDERCOVER Reveal A Series Of sacai x Nike LDWaffle Colorways

Collaboration is nothing new to the sneaker space, but the last few years have seen worlds collide like never before. Teased via “spy-shots” over the last year, the sacai x Nike LDWaffle is set to release in three-way collaborations with fragment design, CLOT and UNDERCOVER by the end of 2021.

Confirmed by Edison Chen with a social media flyer donning the headline “EXTRA HOT WAFFLES,” the upcoming collection includes seven total colorways of Chitose Abe’s creation with the Swoosh. While Chen and Hiroshi Fujiwara’s imprints have contributed two pairs each to the capsule, Jun Takahashi’s 31-year-old label has prepped three iterations of the layered, waffle-outsole design. Tonal grey styles arrive next to ones resembling certain Nike Air Max 1 pairs for a roster sure to satisfy any preference. Most propositions forgo excessive branding for a simple logo hit on the bottom-tongue’s label; fragment design’s, however, stamp their name and signature development-style text on the midsole.

Enjoy illustrations of all seven LDWaffles by friends of sacai here below, and anticipate a scattered Nike SNKRS release schedule throughout autumn and winter.
