Nike Swaps Out The Air Max 90’s Window Logo With Retro Font

Nike Swaps Out The Air Max 90’s Window Logo With Retro Font

The Nike Air Max 90, following laser-etched and outdoors-inspired colorways, is ready to tone things down. Alongside a simple palette, the pair here replaces its usual branding with retro-style text and logos.

Aside from a few exceptions, most of the construction — including the perforated toe — relies on white neutrals. Everything from the overlays to the mesh unders are shaded as such: bright, bereft of color, and low profile relative to the accents adjacent. The latter details, which take on a number of different forms, are mostly quite vibrant and vintage-like in aesthetic. At the side, the window logo is removed in favor of an older “Nike” font, which appears again atop the tongue label and insole. Elsewhere, between the two navy Swooshes, the lace keep opts for a rainbow-informed arrangement, striping with shades of yellow, white, green, and red.

For a closer look, see below for the official images. A release is sure to hit Nike.com and select retailers soon.
