Though hyped from the outset — thanks largely in part to Kanye West — the adidas UltraBOOST is not quite as widely adopted as it was years ago. However, with new makes and models coming to light, it’s possible we’ll see this change for the better.
Far more interesting than adjacent iterations, the UltraBOOST DNA Web does new things with the cushioned sole. Instead of leaving it entirely exposed, the foam is encased with a durable rubber frame, one that tonally matches the highlighter yellow the rest of the knit upper employs. Elsewhere, blacked out threads and Three Stripes contrast atop, the former doing so in a way visually identical to the ever-beloved UB 1.0.
