Nike Celebrates 30th Anniversary Of The Air Mowabb With First-Ever Retro

As the Air Mowabb turns 30, Nike ACG is celebrating with the silhouette’s first-ever retro. Alongside the OG “Rattan Birch,” expect to see the “Gravity Purple” colorway on the shelves by the end of the month.

While it made a brief reappearance by way of collaborators Olivia Kim and COMME des GARCONS, the classic has yet to return in its original color schemes — that is, however, until now. Like many a retro prior, the model seems identical to its past self in look and feel. The colorway alone conjures nostalgia, bearing the signature palette of the “All Conditions Gear” line-up. Throughout the thick, robust suede upper, the titular “Gravity Purple” takes the helm, dyeing against the edge of a blacked out base. Elsewhere, “University Gold” accents round out the design, threading both the forefoot’s miniature Swoosh and the “ACG” logo on the collar.

For a closer look, check out the images below. A release is currently slated to hit select retailers on August 1st.

If re-releases are what you’re after, you may want to mark your calendars for Yeezy Day 2021.
