Undoubtedly deserving of a seat in the pantheon of NBA all-stars, Giannis Antetokounmp recently led the Milwaukee Bucks to an NBA Championship win, earning the city their very first title. And as the Finals MVP, the athlete and Nike have cause to celebrate, the two ready to offer more iterations of signatures like the Giannis Immortality.
Today, the silhouette opts for a feel only part-festive. Black neutrals dress most of the upper, filling in the entirety of the midsole, the synthetic-composed heel counter, and the knit base forward. The accents, moreover, are where the party begins, the two Swooshes being the most flamboyant characters. Along the lateral, the check is stitched with multi-color thread, neighboring both a partially exposed Volt layer and an iridescent film. Opposite, the logo ostensibly takes notes from Travis Scott, flipping its own orientation and applying an alternating orange embroidery. Finally, along the top line, hits of pale yellow and blue dress through the lace unit, pulls, and lining.
