The Nike Air Max 96 II Appears In A Clean “Sail” Look

As retro sneaker styles continue to trend, Nike isn’t hesitating to give some old-school silhouettes a new face. Known for its ’90s sporty aesthetic, the Nike Air Max 96 II will be seeing a sleek, “Sail” offering that turns the classic triple-white colorway up a notch.

In minimalist fashion, this new pair sees its usual mesh upper in a soothing “Sail” tint. Although the chevron-like overlays are often a site for bright hues, they are in the aforementioned off-white shade for a monochromatic look. However, bits of greyish beige are applied throughout the model for a touch of contrast. These hints of color are found as decals on the tongue, leather overlays on the toe, and within the Air Max unit. Finally, the sole boasts a look similar to that of its predecessor, the Nike Air Max 95, and is in a bright white to complete the tonal style.

Get a closer look at the Air Max 96 II below, which will arrive at Nike.com in the coming months at a price of $160.
