Human Made Experiments With The adidas EQT Racing 91/16 Boost

It’s in Human Made‘s nature to revisit the past. Their mainline collection, for example, is predicated entirely on Americana, the brand often replicating workwear pieces from the late 1800s to the mid 1900s. To do the same with their adidas collaborations wouldn’t be at all farfetched, and NIGO seems to agree as he aims to bring back the EQT Racing 91/16 Boost.

Though a bit more modern than the original EQT Racing 91, the silhouette still bears the same DNA all while sporting a more cushioned Boost sole. Shaded in white, the bottom lies neutral underfoot two distinct colorways. The first leans quite a bit closer to the ZX line-up, drawing inspiration from the “Aqua” palette with its blue-tinged base, pops of yellow, and subtle navy accents. Human Made’s signature heart logo and “Gears For Futuristic Teenagers” slogan, then, adds collaborative flair both here and the accompanying alternate. But where its counterpart brightens, this pair darkens, opting instead to lead with subdued black, grey, and earth-toned panels.

For a closer look at both options, see below. A release is still currently under wraps, but it’s likely we’ll learn more very soon.

In other news, the Air Jordan 11 Cool Grey is coming back this December.
