adidas Forum ’84 Hi Arriving Soon In Green And Red

adidas Forum ’84 Hi Arriving Soon In Green And Red

As the adidas Forum ’84 Hi continues to infiltrate the mainstream consciousness, it’s surfaced in a healthy mix of old school-inspired and modern-day takes. Its latest ensemble unquestionably looks to decades past for inspiration.

The high-quality leather upper is clad in varying shades of white, with the majority of the base boasting an “aged” aesthetic. Profile 3-Stripes, collar paneling and reinforcement around the heel deviate in both color and material (green suede and corduroy take over the spotlight). Branding at the lateral heel, medial mid-foot and tongue label deviate in a red that helps harken back to team colors of the 1980s. Non-standard logos on the spine and tongue label nod to the adidas Originals model’s debut year as well as basketball heritage. Underfoot, a slightly-yellowed midsole works in-tandem with a light gum brown outsole for a vintage look that’s refreshing in today’s landscape of high-tech trainers.

An official adidas.com release date hasn’t been disclosed, but this high-top Forum is likely to drop by autumn. In the meantime, enjoy images of the pair ahead.

In related sneaker news, the color-changing YEEZY 350 V2 “Light” is anticipated to launch on August 28th.
