HANON And Diadora Celebrate Their 7th Anniversary With The N9000 “Pictish Warrior”

HANON And Diadora Celebrate Their 7th Anniversary With The N9000 “Pictish Warrior”

Few collaborations have the legs to last years — some, even, fizzle out in much less time. HANON and Diadora, however, are celebrating their 7th year together, turning their union tangible by way of the N9000 “Pictish Warrior.”

Together, the two imprints honor the legend of the Picts — translated: “Painted People” — an ancient tribe that are among the earliest settlers of what is now Scotland. And as their namesake implies, the group often tattooed themselves in blue, covering their bodies with war paint to better intimidate in battle. This upcoming N9000 is a celebration of these warriors, its blue, gunmetal grey, and light tan palette directly inspired by the people themselves. Elsewhere, the Pictish Beast, a mythical creature of unknown lore, can be found along the side logo and heel, etched into the shoe similar to what the Picts themselves left behind.

For a closer, detailed look, see below. HANON’s raffle is currently live now, ending promptly tomorrow, July 16th.
