Dean Smith, Michael Jordan’s Coach At UNC, Honored In The Jordan Series .01

With its introduction, the Jordan Series .01 celebrated two greats: MJ himself as well as the legend’s older brother Larry. This started a trend poised only to continue, and the silhouette will just do just that with this upcoming homage to Dean Smith.

While dedicated to Smith, Michael Jordan’s coach during his college years, the colorway more so celebrates the University of Carolina itself. As such, the beloved “University Blue” is used atop the suede toe as well as the side’s embroidered “DEAR DEAN” text. The rest of the exterior is rendered in white neutrals, allowing not only the aforementioned to stand out but also the red nylon of the branded tongue label.
