Ghoulish Patches Cover The adidas ZX 8000 For Halloween

Ghoulish Patches Cover The adidas ZX 8000 For Halloween

Ahead of Halloween 2021, various players in the sneaker space have shared (unofficial) looks at the spooky footwear they’ve prepped for the October 31st holiday. The latest brand to join the party is adidas, which has animated the ZX 8000 with a bevy of ghoulish patches and an appropriate yellow and orange color scheme.

Akin to the rumored Bad Bunny ZX 8000, the newly-surfaced sneaker indulges in a busy arrangement that arguably utilizes the adidas Originals model as a backdrop rather than the focus. Various specter-shaped overlays made from chenille cover the pair’s profiles, sitting atop panels of suede, mesh and nylon. 3-Stripes branding on the mid-foot deliver purple flair to the mix; tongues and heel overlays follow suit. Lastly, the midsole opts for a vibrant yellow that resembles the inner contents of a pumpkin, pairing with a black outsole.

An official adidas.com release date hasn’t been disclosed, but this ZX 8000 is likely to arrive throughout October. In the meantime, enjoy images of the pair ahead.

For more from under the Three Stripes umbrella, check out the YEEZY 700 “Wash Orange” anticipated to launch before 2021 ends.
