Often considered among the greatest Nike Basketball shoe designs in history, the Zoom Flight 95 is reportedly returning in 2022 in its original colorway. It is likely that other versions of the shoe will be on its way back as well, while the prospects of a collaboration seem rather high as Nike Basketball continues to explore the vault with their creative partnerships. Off-White? Travis Scott? UNDERCOVER? While no collabs are actually confirmed, an undertaking would be rather provoking as the model itself is quite bold with the “bug eye” midsole and carbon fiber overlay.
The Zoom Flight 95 quite obviously released in 1995, a year in which many will argue is the best year in Nike history. Worn by the likes of Jason Kidd and Tim Hardaway, the Zoom Flight 95 also came in a high-top model that comes in second to this widely popular Mid. It’s been re-issued twice before – once in 2007 and again in 2015 (the later being pictured here), and you can likely expect much of the same for the 2022 version. Stay tuned for updates.
