Throughout its near-20-year-old history, Nike SB has drawn inspiration from a wide array of places, faces and things. Recently, the skate-focused imprint has unveiled styles inspired by original Nike Air Max 90 colorways alongside a handful of Nike SB Dunk Low pairs inspired by the Nike ACG Terra shoe.
The forthcoming option indulges in a vibrant magenta-reminiscent tone, muted black base and faint yellow across its predominantly suede upper. Previously-seen counterparts have boasted “Celadon” and purple makeups that are unmistakably rooted in the Swoosh’s foray into outdoors-ready footwear throughout the 1990s. The third-to-surface Nike Dunk-variant doesn’t feature any reworked branding or “HIKE NIKE” hangtags, but its vibrant color palette, color-blocking and materials harken back to earlier days in Nike ACG history.
An official Nike SNKRS release date is unknown, but this SB Dunk Low is likely to launch by autumn. In the meantime, keep it locked here for updates.
Elsewhere under the NIKE, Inc. banner, the Air Jordan 1 Low is ready for summer.
