The Nike Air Max 270 Returns For The Encouraging “Do You” Pack

The Nike Air Max 270 Returns For The Encouraging “Do You” Pack

For decades, Nike has preached to “Just Do It,” “It” being anything from sports to brave displays of activism. And while often echoed with resounding volume, it’s taken the brand years to flip said slogan back around. This is exactly what the “Do You” collection achieves, the text placed on silhouettes like this Air Max 270 to encourage the world that “You” are more than exemplary.

Here, loud colors play support for a base visually subdued, mirroring the character battle many often face on a day-to-day basis. The mesh, which makes up the majority of the shoe itself, is clad in full black, muffling the vibrant personality that the hot pink sole and Volt lining exude. And while the white branding and type do little to subvert this concept, the “Do You” text that covers the laces shouts brief but necessary words of encouragement.

For a closer look at the Air Max 270 “Do You,” see below for the official images. Sizes are sure to appear on Nike.com and select retailers soon.

In other news, the Dunk Low Grey Fog should be landing soon.
