A black, lightweight textile upper that is offset by leather overlays in a tan “Rattan” shade. The layout of the aforementioned overlays and the “Gym Red” heel pull loop result in a design that is somewhat comparable to the Nike Air Huarache. The inside and branded labels on the tongue and lateral side add a few more hits of Gym Red to liven up the predominantly black and tan scheme. A white Nike React foam sole unit is placed under the base and includes a visible Air unit at the heel. To round out the look, a herringbone tread rubber outsole is incorporated for a lifestyle proposition that takes cues from basketball shoes.
