In Nike’s case, any colorway halfway decent will appear again, creating a makeshift pack replete of multiple silhouettes. The “Persian Violet” is the latest apple of the brand’s eye, the palette soon to dress even the Air Max 96 II.
Like the iterations before it, the pair broods in black, dressing every one of its leather overlays in the dark shade. The Air Unit, midsole, and lace unit follow suit, while small touches of white brighten up the design along the Swoosh as well as through the profile. And while the tongue may appear light all the same, it’s much easier for the purple mesh base to draw one’s attention.
