Jasmine Tang With warmer weather approaching, the hunt for summer-ready sneaker alternatives is heating up. One of the season’s hottest (although still controversial) options is undoubtedly the adidas Yeezy Foam Runner. The masses have another chance to score a pair tomorrow, with the re-release of the Foam Runner “Sand.”
The “Sand” colorway, which first dropped in March, deviates much from the “Mineral Blue” offering that is arriving on the same day. The Foam Runner “Mineral Blue” swirls black and blue for a two-tone approach initially demonstrated by the “MXT Moon Grey” pair. On the other hand, the “Sand” proposition opts for a single-colored beige makeup close to that of the silhouette’s debut “Ararat” style. In terms of the model’s construction, the single-pieced clog maintains its familiar holes and ridges for a futuristic look. A fusion of harvested algae and adidas EVA materials continue to create the rubber-like material that delivers the eclectic design.
