A Third Nike Air Max 90 “First Use” Appears With Shades Of “University Blue”

A Third Nike Air Max 90 “First Use” Appears With Shades Of “University Blue”

Nike Sportswear’s forthcoming “First Use” collection already includes different Nike Blazer Mid, Nike Air Force 1 and Nike Air Max 90 styles, but it continues to add tallies to its roster. The latest offering arrives in the form of a classic Tinker Hatfield design clad in shades of “University Blue”.

A mix of mesh, synthetic leather, suede and TPU cover the entirety of the Air Max‘s upper, and are dipped in varying iterations of light blue. The mudguard’s arrangement resembles that of previous Air Jordan releases, while the profile swooshes and accompanying branding deliver stark white contrast à la two-tone Nike Dunk. Medial sides feature a date commemorating the first time Carolyn Davidson’s swoosh design was used by Nike: “June 18, 1971”. Lastly, the sole unit indulges in hits of the titular blue color across its visible Airbag and outsole accents.

An official Nike.com release date hasn’t been disclosed, but this Air Max 90 is likely to launch before July begins.
