The Air Jordan 1 Centre Court made headlines shortly following ESPN’s “The Last Dance” documentary series, as friends of Brand Jordan revealed that they were gifted pairs of the silhouette. Since then, the tennis-inspired model has emerged in a handful of styles, with its latest nodding to court-ready shoes of the 1970s.
Akin to its original ensemble, the forthcoming pair indulges in a white leather throughout its upper. However, the latest Air Jordan 1 Low-variant boasts perforated leather across most of its top-half, while the “Wings” insignia is stitched across the heel in its standard smooth leather construction. Soft suede makes its way onto the tongue and upper heel panel, with the latter sporting stark green contrast like a competitor’s most popular tennis shoe; the court-inspired tone also appears on the sock-liner, tongue’s underside, most-upper eye-stay and outsole.
Enjoy official images of the low-top Jordan 1 ahead, and anticipate pairs to hit Nike.com before summer ends.
