Michael Le Among Dunk High collaborations, few are as interesting as AMBUSH‘s, a pair that infuses Japanese car/motorcycle culture into its every design. And after releasing two colorways — both of which sold out within mere minutes — designer Yoon Ahn took to social media to tease a brand new “Deep Royal Blue” alternate.
Relative to its predecessors, not much is new at all. Rather, the offering itself actually leans on past icons, part-resembling UNDERCOVER’s Jungle Dunk from years back. Blue tints the overlays from toe to heel, while the aggressive, spiked Swoosh attaches in a deep black. The tread seems to follow in the latter’s example, while the leather base, laces, and midsole opt for the usual white neutral.
Currently, a release date for the “Deep Royal Blue” colorway is unknown, but it is expected to land before the end of the year. In the meantime, enjoy these quick peeks and sit tight for further updates.
