Nike SB continues to deliver some rather intriguing concepts on the Dunk model, now delivering a high-top with an in-your-face detail that may suggest a connection to colored bars commonly seen on televisions of the past. According to these photos provided by leway_sg, the SB Dunks utilize a holographic lenticular prints at the mid-foot panel and ankle collar, with random blotches of white covering the layer. The rest of the shoe opts for a basic black/white miix, with leather at the toe-box, suede at the toe-guard, heel, and lace collar, and what appears to be a patent leather gloss on the Swoosh.
According to @nikesbornothing, the US release of these SB Dunks have been cancelled, much like the SB Dunk Low “Camcorder” release of earlier this year. We shouldn’t be too surprise if more SB drops don’t make it to the states, possibly due to the ongoing hardships in shipping.
Check out the first look ahead and stay tuned as release details unfold. In other SB Dunk High news (that are attainable), the “Maui Wowie” SB Dunks will release on April 23rd.
