Although the Ultraboost 21 debuted earlier this year and a handful of colorways for the model followed, adidas is still focusing on expanding the original Ultra Boost franchise with the introduction of the Ultra Boost 6.0. A women’s-exclusive Non-Dyed and Halo Ivory arrangement will soon join the series in full Primeblue glory.
The woven uppers of this offering use grey and Halo Ivory threads, aligning with the current trend of cream-tinted footwear. adidas’s sustainable Primeblue materials innovation is responsible for the knit construction, with the Non-Dyed cage and heel counter incorporating Milguard Ocean C™, a unique, polymeric blend of recycled ocean plastics and other wastes. This new substance gives the aforementioned elements a textured, fabric-like appearance that doesn’t appear on the TPU overlays of previous Ultra Boost models. As for the Boost foam midsole, the pair adds extra height via a stacked design with a 10mm midsole drop. Continental™ Rubber is found underfoot to add traction and complete the oceans-oriented design.
See official images of the Ultra Boost 6.0 below as you wait for the pair to arrive at adidas.com on April 27th with a price of $180.
In other news under the Three Stripes umbrella, the adidas 4D Kick is a unique approach to the signature, lattice 4D midsole.
