Windproof, waterproof, and breathable, GORE-TEX, today, is one of the most prolific inventions known to man. A well-used tool amongst names like Arc’teryx, The North Face, and the like, the material has since bled into near all subsets of fashion. And recently, sneaker culture, too, has picked up on the trend, with Nike soon to use the fabric atop the Air Force 1 Low once again.
Here, the water wicking offering delivers a reserved scheme bereft of any color at all. Though the see-through sole may deceptively appear blue, its tint is only the result of shadow. Above, there’s no such confusion as the synthetic shell boast a flat white underneath a set of slightly greyer leather overlays. Lace toggles, then, fasten to a matching toggle, while the heel embroiders with similarly neutral embroideries.
