Despite being on opposite coasts, Noah NY and Vans have upheld a rather strong collaborative relationship. And though quite a bit since their last meeting, the two are finally reuniting to pay homage to the Venice curbs and the OG Style 24LX.
Alongside official imagery, the streetwear label shares why they think the curbs themselves are so important. Transcending generations, the skate-able architecture has literally laid the ground for names like Natas Kaupas, Eric Dressen, and Tim Gavin, all of whom likely share the same sentiment: they’re “flat out fun.” To celebrate the early days of the culture, Noah is throwing it back to the 80s, adding on some vibrant, camo flair to the aforementioned model. Hued in two variations — one pink-based, the other white — the print nods to shoes not uncommon during the era, its contrasted, abstract shapes resembling prominent retro designs. Rubberized toes and soles, then, deliver durability adjacent in shades of black or white.
