Every year, Nike SB prepares something very special for 4/20, the national Stoner Holiday. This year, following the “Dog Walker” and “Reverse Skunk,” the brand is looking towards Hawaii’s lush greens.
Dubbed the “Maui Wowie,” the Dunk High colorway is unassumingly playful at first glance, coy in all of its more vibrant details. Fresh out of the box, the pair starts a vibrant green, with its floral patterns hued a brighter, contrasted pink. Woven Swooshes and tongues further accent in their darker creams, while the tongue label brightens in its use of orange. And while these details remain consistent, the rest of the upper slowly wears away to reveal a deep, grassy green along the overlays and a louder version of the aforementioned print underneath.
It’s unclear whether or not Nike SB has included a stash pocket in these, but if it’s true 4/20 drop, then I wouldn’t put it past them. For now, sit tight and expect more updates soon.
