Paul George’s Nike PG 5 Appears In A Standard Black/Red

Only a day after unveiling a beige and gold arrangement, Paul George‘s Nike PG 5 is returning in full black and University Red glory, and any time we see this shoe on a basketball shoe, we can only assume it’s a nod to the GOAT.

In true Bred fashion, the pair sees a black mesh base that is matched by the plush ankle and leather elements on the heel and forefoot. University Red coats the inside, tongue, and outsole to balance out the aforementioned shade. PG logos, Swooshes, and the wavy graphic overlays mid-panel add further hits of red. As for the model’s technical aspects, a full-length Nike Air Zoom Strobel provide cushioning and flexibility. Underfoot, Zoom Air units can be seen via two cutouts on the outsole. To round out the design, a rather haphazardly-shaped tread pattern is also demonstrated by the outsole, providing the traction needed for the Clippers player to get his game on.
