The Air Jordan 3 “Georgetown” Releases Tomorrow

The Air Jordan 3 “Georgetown” Releases Tomorrow

Georgetown serves as the latest inspiration for the Air Jordan 3. And though many would surely prefer the AJ5 PE revealed days ago, these are the closest we’ll ever get to feeling like a part of the Hoyas.

In insignia, the inspiration is not at all overt. The university’s emblem and mascot make no appearance here, not even on the tongue like the aforementioned player’s exclusive. Instead, the pair features traditional Jordan branding, such as Jumpman embroideries and symbols at both the tongue and counter, respectively. The brunt of the homage arrives by way of the coloring: “Midnight Navy” matches the Georgetown signatures quite close, and with the grey cement prints and leather details adjacent, the reference becomes further complete.

If you’d like to get your hands on these, they release this Saturday, March 20th. Check out our Air Jordan 3 Georgetown store list for help come drop day.

In other news, the adidas Yeezy 350 v2 Ash Pearl is also releasing on that day.
