CLOT Teases A Tea-Inspired Follow-Up To Their Nike Air Max 1

CLOT Teases A Tea-Inspired Follow-Up To Their Nike Air Max 1

“After reflexology usually comes tea,” said Edison Chen via Instagram. The designer, whose “Kiss of Death” recently returned for the first time in over a decade, seems to be working on something equally as big for Air Max Day: a new, tea-inspired version of the collaborative Air Max 1.

Not much is known about the colorway as of yet, but Chen and his imprint CLOT have teased images throughout the weekend. Bathed in shadow and teased by way of an on-foot image, the pair reveals a construction near identical to the aforementioned “K.O.D.” The see-through, perforated toe makes a return, adding the same DNA adjacent to suede “CLOTCHA Brown” panels and contrasting red swooshes/laces. Underfoot, the outsole even features the reflexology chart newly crafted for the aforementioned pair’s revival, its graphic tinged in all the same vibrant colors.

For a quick look at what to expect, see the images below. A release is likely to arrive before the end of the month.

In other news, A Reebok x Eames collaboration is in the works for Fall 2021.

Updated March 17th, 2021: CLOT fully reveals the Air Max 1 “CLOTCHA”.
