Vans Teams Up With Sportswear Purveyor Penn For Tennis-Ready Essentials

Vans Teams Up With Sportswear Purveyor Penn For Tennis-Ready Essentials

Vans’ collaborative family is arguably the most diverse in the entire sneaker industry. And today, the brand is expanding it by yet another influential figure: Penn, the imprint responsible for introducing the first pressurized tennis ball.

A bridge between tennis and skateboarding, the collaboration offers a total of three different footwear options. The Slip-On and Authentic — two of the most cherished Vans’ staples — open for the collection, bearing a palette and design that’s more preppy than offerings prior. Among the two, the lace-up is far more reserved, adding on red illustrations to the side of its white-on-white colorway. Adjacent, the Slip-On opts for a yellow and orange whose tennis ball inspired blocking bears checkerboard reminiscent debossing. The newly crafted Penn Lowland CC completes the pack, its 90s form given a slim profile and throwback “Flying V” logo hits.

For a close-up look at the entire range (including apparel), see the campaign images below. Pairs are currently on their way to Vans.com and select retailers.

In other news, the a Black/Volt Nike SB Nyjah 2 was just unveiled.
