Jasmine Tang Vans may be best known for their SK8-His and Old Skool franchises, but the Vans Vault collection is where its top-tier, premium designs reside. An ode to the brand’s SoCal roots, the Vault is covering four pairs of the OG Style 24 LX in a hibiscus print.
The flower-powered Style 24s arrive in premium canvas uppers offered in Persimmon, Ballad Blue, Juniper, and Classic White. Since the hibiscus is a plant native to California, the white, stamp-like floral patterns on the high tops’ uppers are an appropriate nod at Van’s Anaheim origins. The cream-tinted vulcanized midsole paired with high foxing tape makes the styles ideal for skating. Underfoot, a gum outsole with a waffle tread adds the durability and traction demanded by the brand’s skateboarding fan base.
The OG Style 24 LX options are exclusively available at Tokyo-based retailer BILLY’S for approximately $89 USD.
