This Nike Air Max 90 Makes A Subtle Callout To A Classic Air Max Logo

With March in full swing and the vibes of Madness typically expected this time of year, college-themed colorways always seem to stand out. Before the madness even begins, an Air Max 90 featuring archival Air Max logos has emerged in full UMich glory.

The pair’s colorway and branded details closely follow that of an Air Max 95 that had surfaced in January. It uses a white mesh base that is offset by navy leather overlays. Aligning with the Wolverines color scheme, University Gold pains the side Swoosh, inside, and TPU elements applied to the eyestays and mudguard. The gold also lands on contrast stitches on the mudguard to further embrace team spirit. Navy and gold is not only associated with college sports, but also often seen on sneakers back in the ’90s. This vintage affair is acknowledged by the classic Air Max logo printed on the insoles, reminiscent of the classic Air Max2 logo, but without the numerical add-on. Rounding out the design, gold, black, and grey meet underfoot to sculpt the iconic Waffle outsole.

Get a closer look at the Wolverines-themed model while waiting for the pair to arrive at the retailers listed below for $120.

In other Swoosh-related news, READYMADE has another experimental Nike Blazer on the way.
