Michael Le For long-time sneakerheads, the name Fox Brothers will likely bring up some long-lost memories. Years prior — 2013, to be specific — the imprint had their very own collaboration with Nike, one that saw both the Dunk High and Air Magma clad in woolen textiles. Today, we’re to see these materials on center stage once again, though this time with some Three Stripes over top.
With the new partner comes a relatively new color scheme. In contrast to the aforementioned Nikes’ blues, the two Samba Fox colorways opt for shades of brown. And though they may distinguish themselves in their soles, the pairs are overtly of the same ethos, with tweed-esque swatches spread throughout the base. One prefers a more grey-dominant variation, while the other a hue far more saturated. The overlays, then, assemble in leathers and suedes, each panel — regardless of its backdrop — alternating between creams as well as some dark and light earth tones.
