Nike’s Lightning Bolt Swoosh Strikes The Air Max 90

Nike’s Lightning Bolt Swoosh Strikes The Air Max 90

The Nike Air Max 90 unsurprisingly had an impressive 2020 given the year marked its 30th anniversary. Yet, the Tinker Hatfield-designed silhouette hasn’t slowed down with the release previews as 2021 has gotten underway. For its latest proposition, the Nike Sportswear classic has emerged in a “White/Aquamarine/Lime Glow/Off Noir” colorway complete with lightning bolt detailing throughout.

Reminiscent of a couple of original arrangements, the forthcoming pair features a greyscale base overlaid with “Aquamarine” and “Lime Glow” flair. Unlike most of the options seen throughout its milestone anniversary, the Air Max‘s latest take boasts larger-perforated mesh and a tumbled leather across its mudguard and underlay. All TPU accents indulge in a spring-appropriate green, while lighting bolt-shaped profile swooshes deliver aquatic flavor that also animates the visible Airbag underfoot.

An official Nike.com release date is unknown, but this Air Max 90 is likely to launch throughout summer. In any case, enjoy images of the shoes here below.

Elsewhere under the NIKE, Inc. umbrella, the Air Jordan 11 “Legend Blue” is set to arrive in April.
