Kyrie Irving may want James Harden to play point guard for the Brooklyn Nets squad, but off-court, he’s spearheading efforts to save the planet. Enter: A new Nike Kyrie 7 clad in an “Atomic Orange” tone and comprised of Nike Regrind material, just in time for the NBA’s 2021 All-Star Weekend.
Akin to the model’s inaugural colorways, the latest pair from Irving’s signature sneaker line indulges in a vibrant, pattern-laden style. Mesh overlays on the lateral profile boast the aforementioned, titular hue, and also feature turquoise blotches throughout. Adjacent swoosh outlines and lockdown tooling along the bottom of the tongue abandon any eye-catching color, but opt into the multi-color aesthetic of Nike’s up-cycled matter. Unlike eco-friendly pairs of the iconic Air Force 1, Irving’s latest “All-Star” sneaker doesn’t include Regrind rubber on the outsole. Instead, it maintains standard (albeit colorful) tooling, and dons plant-infused branding on the sockliner and heel.
Enjoy official images of the Kyrie 7 “All-Star” here below, and anticipate pairs to arrive to Nike.com sometime in March.
