Recycled Nike Regrind Outsoles Appear On This Two-Tone Challenger OG

Recycled Nike Regrind Outsoles Appear On This Two-Tone Challenger OG

Since relaunching in mid-2020, the Nike Challenger has mostly kept to tonal colorways rooted in heritage. For its next proposition, the ’70s runner isn’t abandoning this formula, but it’s pairing it with Nike Regrind outsoles.

Akin to previously-seen iterations under the Air Max umbrella, the Swoosh’s proprietary up-cycled material is isolated on the tread. A white foam midsole accompanied the grey and multi-color component, while the fabric base and its overlays up top also indulge in a greyscale palette. Profile swooshes and panels on the heel deviate from the muted tone in favor of an eye-catching purple makeup, but they forgo their traditional leather build in favor of a canvas material. Elsewhere, collars, inner lining and branding on the tongue also boast the once-regal color.

Enjoy official images of this Challenger here below, and expect pairs to quietly hit Nike.com soon.
