While New Balance gradually reveals the full scope of its anniversary celebration for the New Balance 991, it’s steadily delivering other options also made in the United Kingdom. Most recently, the hybrid New Balance 920 has been enlisted, now donning a mustard yellow-reminiscent tone.
The model’s mesh base is clad in a greyscale arrangement rather synonymous with the North American institution. Premium suede overlays throughout the sporty upper opt for either a black or yellow hue, with the latter boasting the most coverage of the aforementioned tones. Embroidery on the tongue nods to the sneaker’s construction in Flimby, Cumbria, U.K., while the text on the lateral heel reference the model’s name. Underfoot, the New Balance 993-reminiscent sole unit relies on a tried-and-tested color palette.
A NewBalance.com release may be in the works, but for now, the pair has arrived to select retailers across Europe.
