Nike Decorates This Women’s Daybreak Type With Braids And Bold Stripes

Relative to its peers, the Nike Daybreak Type is rather sterile in its appearances. Typically, the model makes due with a variety of simple colors, rarely ever going as far to change up its specific fixtures. But here, exclusively for women, the brand is adding on braids, stripes, and the like right in time for the Spring season.

The most interesting detail is arguably the Swoosh, which removes its usual overlay for a braided outline. The pink threads, whose fibers stitch into a thick, cream canvas, match the eye stay and heel tab panels that seem to dress up in a fleece fabric. Below, a soft tan smoothens out the counter, while the elements forward lead with two striped patterns. What’s more, the toe box also features some lace fabric, adding further to the kit’s overall playfulness.

For a better look at all the details, see below. Expect a release to hit Nike.com and possibly select retailers soon. But if you can’t wait, it seems pairs have made their way to eBay early.

In other news, overbranding informs an upcoming END Reebok Club C.
