Perhaps unbeknownst to most casual sneaker enthusiasts, the “Concord” color commonly associated with the Air Jordan 11 first appeared on the Nike Air Max 180 three years earlier. For its latest proposition, Team Jumpman is revisiting the color scheme and year on the basketball-ready Jordan Zoom ’92.
Launched in July 2020, Brand Jordan’s in-line sneaker draws inspiration from the Jordan 7 and aforementioned Air Max Michael Jordan wore throughout the Barcelona Olympics 29 years ago. Most of the pair’s mixed-materials upper is clad in “Summit White,” but lateral profile swooshes and midsole accents deviate in an eye-catching “Metallic Gold” tone. “Bright Concord,” however, steals the spotlight as it animates the tongue and heel. All together, the sneaker’s hues create a look that has lasted the test of time.
Enjoy official images of the next Jordan Zoom ’92 ahead, and expect a Nike.com launch by summer.
