To close out the last month of the year, near every brand has come out of the woodworks with their own collaborations and inline releases. Friday, specifically, is one of the most eventful dates of 2021 thus far, delivering pairs from Patta, Jaden Smith, and even Stussy. Tuesday, on the other hand, is appropriately the opposite, removed of almost all releases so that the world can honor the first anniversary of Kobe Bryant‘s and Gianna Bryant’s passing with few distractions.
The releases, then, pick up soon after on Wednesday, where Converse will issue three colorways of their sustainable Chuck Taylor All Star Crater. Jordan Brand and Nike follow closely behind, offering the FACETASM Why Not Zer0.4 and the Volt Foamposite Pro, respectively. Thursday is a bit lighter, though it makes up for what it lacks in quantity with quality drops like the Dunk High “Dark Russet,” the Dunk Low “Medium Curry,” and the Concepts x Converse “Southern Flame.”
Rolling into the latter half of the week, Patta brings out their collaborative 991 alongside Jaden Smith’s two neutral-toned Vision Racers. adidas keeps it simple with the Forum ’84 Lo “Bright Blue,” but Nike dials it up a notch as they prepare hand-dyed Air Force 1s with Stussy and the celebratory LeBron 18 “Dunkman.” Saturday features the SNS x ASICS NOVABLAST and the versatile Air Jordan 9 “Dark Charcoal,” while Sunday is supposed to close us out with the Yeezy Boost 700 v2 Cream, the Air Jordan 1 Low CNY, and the Asia exclusive Dunk High Baroque Brown.
