Nike Hides A Motivational Comeback Message Behind This Air Force 1 Low

Ahead of its 40th anniversary, the Nike Air Force 1 Low has been busy delivering previews of what to expect in 2022. Ever skillful in switching between the familiar and experimental, Bruce Kilgore’s design has recently emerged in an arrangement that adds a tally to the latter category, donning a canvas upper laden with layered branding and an accessory reminding spectators that “IT’S NOT OVER ‘TIL IT’S OVER.”

At a glance, the forthcoming pair’s white and navy color palette, lightweight construction and compass-reminiscent upper eye-stays deliver an impression of a nautical theme. And while maritime inspiration may have gone into the sneaker, this theory doesn’t explain the stacked “NIKE AIR” and swoosh logos throughout the upper and on the insole. Underfoot, sole units indulge in the tones found across the Air Force 1‘s top-half, and forgo any non-standard design. Detailing behind the tongue label, however, replace manufacturing information with arrows and “KK,” “MM” and other lettering. Accompanying shoe bags relay a message of perseverance that’s relevant in sports and life-at-large.

Enjoy official images of the 39-year-old design’s next proposition here below, and expect a Nike SNKRS launch ahead of summer.
