Jasmine Tang Towards the end of 2020, adidas has been delivering a slew of new Ultra Boost offerings, from its original 1.0 to the newest 5.0. To close out the year, The Three Stripes is releasing an Ultra Boost 4.0 DNAthat boasts a classic black and gold make-up.
With its black uppers and gold stripes on the lace cages, the model is comparable to an Ultra Boost DNA unveiled in January. Visually, the major difference between these two pairs is the foam Boost sole, in which the 4.0 DNA swaps out the black midsole for a stark white one. As per usual, the uppers are constructed of Primablue—adidas’s innovative textile made of recycled materials.
The pair will be released on December 31 at adidas for $180 USD.
