Nike Pairs Up Classic Tumbled Leather With Recycled Wool For The Air Force 1

Though we only have a few more months of winter weather left, Nike is still continuing to make use of their recycled wools. And throughout its numerous usages, the Air Force 1 was objectively at the brunt.

The silhouette is even seeing another iteration at the start of 2021, with the sustainable material now the main focus as it dresses much more than the overlaid accent. In fact, its dressed atop most of the shoe’s back half, stitched into the construction with very little interruptions save for some “Electric Green” stitching and suede heel tabs. Even the tongue follows suit, though it does so in a variant greyed just like the shading on the contrasted side Swoosh. Black tumbled leathers then offset at the forefoot, adding more robust support to the shape of the entire upper.
