The Nike Daybreak Returns In A “Chicago” Reminiscent Colorway

Though the Daybreak Type has increased in popularity in the past few months, it certainly holds no candle to the original, a retro staple that’s soon to close out the year in a “Chicago” reminiscent colorway.

Along the suedes of the toe cap, eye stay, and heel, the bright red is fully displayed, its texture visually similar to that of a premium velvet. Adjacent, the Swoosh and its connected heel tab cut from a dark black leather, contrasting against the smooth finish of a nylon tinged in greyed “Pure Platinum.” Elsewhere, this neutral dresses the laces as well as the tongue underneath, while the woven label stitched atop retains its typical white finish alongside the midsole.
